Am I the Only one?

Who cant remember song lyrics. I can't remember song lyrics to save my life! My husband is a song WRITER and I can never seem to stuff those things in my head far enough to make 'em stick! Philip is constantly telling me "close, but not quite" aw, nuts.

Who consistently spells remember remeber? That last 'M' is a rascally wabbit. Thank you, spell check.

Who thinks flying is the hugest deal? Not only are we IN THE AIR. Flying. Like a bird. But it's such a traumatic experience and people do it everyday like its no big deal. And when you [I] get back people don't care that I was essentially just in outer space. Don't they know what I just went through!?! My very life was in the hands of a machine. A machine full of gas and oil. That could blow up at any moment. That can fall [crash] down to the earth in hot, fiery, flames. Doesn't anybody care!?!?

Who cries every episode of The Biggest Loser? They all have stories and reasons why they got to that point in life and they all are trying to better themselves. I just get so proud of them! Except the white team, they win everything, I am glad they finally lost.

Who cries when they see a person in the military? (or used to be) I just get really grateful that they put their life in danger for me. What about if you get a chance to thank them for their service and then you instantly tear up??

Just me? Can anyone relate??

Well I sure do appreciate you stopping by today, dear reader. If you happen to like worship music and blogs click on over to my husband's blog and read his set list blog. If you happen to be new here let me know you stopped by. And if you have time maybe you want to check out my previous post on prayer, a letter to my future self.

  1. Haha I totally agree about your thoughts on flying - I always freak out whenever I'm on a plane but everyone around me is casually sleeping or reading a book. I don't know how they are all so calm!

  4. Hey, a rare Michigan blogger! I just moved away in July. I'm learning that my life will probably include a lot of airplanes so I try not to stress about them--honestly, to me the worst part about flying is going through security, customs, and immigration.

    1. Why are we so few and far between? Michigan is the best haha. Security and customs is very stressful I went to Mexico once and the airport took forever! Where did you move to? I'll check out your blog :) Thanks for stopping by!

  8. This made me laugh, ha! I ALWAYS get the lyrics wrong!! And my husband is in the music industry as well so of course he knows what seems like every lyric to every song. Some of mine have been "I gotta sexy back" (I'm bringing sexy back), "Stand under my arm foreva" (Under my umbrella), aaaand I'll just stop there but the list is endless. I feel you! ha!

    1. haha! I love your lyric attempts! It is hard, people do NOT annunciate at all these days. The worst is when I forget to words to a song he wrote about me...then I just feel like a jerk. I can't help it I am have no many things to remember in a day sometimes song lyrics don't make it.

  9. Song lyrics seem to be one of the few things I CAN remember lol But I bet there's thing you can remember that I never would!

Flying doesn't bother me, except I really dislike crowds, so being in a busy airport and then stuck on a plane is a high-anxiety thing for me. I flew to South Korea last January to see my husband (military) and I was stuck in a middle seat for like 16 hours straight. NEVER AGAIN!

    1. haha I am sure there are some things I can remember, too. I just can't remember anything right now haha!

I wish I wasn't afraid to fly I really do, it makes life so much worse. Especially because I have so much traveling planned this next year. I can't believe you sat for 16 hours on a plane I would have died!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  11. Love your post!! Although one of my talents is remembering almost every word to every song...Ha ha! Even the good ole fashion oldies! Back in high school my friends would play all these old songs to try to stump me. But never worked. I guess that's what I get for growing up with music. But Flying...AHH I have never and I think I would freak! And I cry at almost every show now..I am becoming a softy..Ha!

PS. Thank you so much for Linking up at the TGIF HOP and sharing it on your blog!! Would you like to cohost with on a Friday!?

    1. Hi Kaitlyn! I sent you an email back about cohosting :) I wish I had that ability! I am a little envious of your lyric remembering abilities! You've never flown?? Man it is really cool but it's super scary to me! When i was a kid my mom was super afraid of flying and would tell me how dangerous flying was. Poor mom I don't think she knew she would SCAR me for life. haha just kidding. I never used to cry at shows, or anything really but for the last 3 or so years I cry at the drop of a hat! haha
